Franklin kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I Need a Doctor. Muyeira comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Death or Jail kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Kerns throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Barcarse tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kerns is in Barcarse's guard.
Barcarse looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Barcarse tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kerns cranks the arm and Barcarse screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Barcarse, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
