Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rich Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronaldo Muyeira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Franklin kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I Need a Doctor. Muyeira comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Death or Jail kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Kerns throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Barcarse tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kerns is in Barcarse's guard.
Barcarse looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Kerns scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Barcarse to see if he's OK.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Kerns has hold of Barcarse's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Barcarse tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kerns cranks the arm and Barcarse screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Barcarse, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Jenji Ueda is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Ueda manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Li takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well Ueda has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Jones lands a head kick. Seong Gyeong smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Seong Gyeong circles away.

Seong Gyeong drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
