Woitek dives in looking to finish as Kovalev flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Woitek's strikes! Woitek is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Kovalev's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Kovalev was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Magomedov shoots for a double leg takedown but Bravo sprawls well. He's pushed Magomedov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Magomedov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bravo tries to avoid it but Magomedov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bravo to the ground. Bravo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rashid Magomedov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck for Magomedov with that takedown attempt.
Mario Bravo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rashid Magomedov.
