The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samuel slaps away a takedown attempt from Snelling, before circling back to the center of the mat.
David Snelling seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Samuel seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Samuel drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Snelling manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Samuel has Snelling in his guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Adam Wiggins.

Craig is aggressively charging in as Carlton backs up avoiding any damage. Carlton tosses out a jab and Craig runs right into it face first! Craig is out cold! Carlton dropped down on all fours and is barking in Craig's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
