Strongfist drops Slice with a beautiful combination! Slice stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Strongfist is looking for the KO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miles moves out of range as Cage throws a body kick.
Miles blocks a head kick by Cage.

Cage connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Miles to the floor! Cage dives in looking for the finish!

Cage working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Cage thows a big elbow that misses.
Miles pulls Cage in to control the position.
Cage working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Miles avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Cage postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Cage slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Miles working for submissions but it's allowed Cage to get to half guard.
Cage wants to control but Miles is keeping him busy.
Cage has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Cage not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Cage scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Cage looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Cage seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Miles does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Cage thows a huge punch but Miles dodges it nicely.
Cage trying to control the action but Miles is working from the bottom.

Cage slips a nice elbow through Miles's hands, connecting with Miles's forehead.
Miles is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Miles is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Cage pulls his head out easily.

Cage looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cage wants to lay and pray for a moment but Miles keeps working.
Miles avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Cage.
Cage winds up and cracks Miles with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Miles on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Miles has hold of Cage's hands but Cage slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Cage landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Miles is not content to let Cage control the position.
Cage is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Miles is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Miles tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Miles pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cage looks to throw the jab but Miles is out of range.
Cage fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Cage avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Cage swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cage misses with a wild combination.
Cage dodges the punch combination from Miles.

Cage throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Miles stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Cage follows into mount!
Miles is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Miles tries to reverse the position but Cage maintains control.
Cage avoids the attempt from Miles to control.
Cage is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Miles goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Cage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Nick Cage!
