Gler changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hansen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hansen pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Gler back to the cage. Hansen follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Hansen drops Gler with a beautiful combination! Gler stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hansen is looking for the KO!

Hansen connects with a stiff jab that staggers Gler - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

After winning the bout, Mac Hansen thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Abel Silva was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Mathers has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Silva.
Mathers throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Silva has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Silva and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
