The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Time takes one on the button.
Good exchange - Holden coming out on top.

Holden drops his shoulder and cracks Time with a huge uppercut! Time goes down! Can Holden finish him?

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Holden tries to free his leg and advance position but Time is retaining full guard.
Holden will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Time can do anything to dispel that myth.

Holden is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Time is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Time bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Holden's guard.

Holden working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Time doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Time manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Time working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Holden's head.
