The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahart takes one to the side of the head.
Old Papi uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ahart has time to react.
Ahart shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Old Papi as he jumps to the side.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ahart.
Old Papi scores with a nice right hand.
Ahart fails with a takedown attempt.
Shane Old Papi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Ahart.
Old Papi lands the left hand.
Ahart takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Ahart misses with an attempted mid kick.
A shot to the liver by Old Papi. Beautiful body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ahart fails with an attempt to clinch.
Old Papi catches Ahart with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Ahart is trying to break free.
Old Papi lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Ahart backwards.

Ahart is rocked!
Ahart is trying desperately to land a takedown but Old Papi is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Ahart.

Old Papi unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Ahart! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Old Papi is unloading with more strikes now! Ahart drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prime thows a body shot but no joy.
Hook throws a solid leg kick but Prime takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Hook.
Hook misses with an attempted mid kick.
Hook throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Prime.

It looks like Optimus Prime has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hook throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Hook lands a big head kick that sends Prime tumbling to the mat! Hook takes a step backwards and waves Prime back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Hook misses with a right hand
and Prime counters with a right hand to the body.
Hook throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Prime throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Prime lands a right hook to the body.
Hook is breathing heavily.
Prime lands a jab to the head.

It looks like Red Hook has been cut.
Prime jabs Hook right on the nose. Hook blinks but takes it well.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Prime, right into the meat.
Prime moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Prime drops Hook with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hook looks back up at him and smiles so Prime waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Hook is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Prime engages and cracks Hook with a massive lead left hook - Hook tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Prime is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Optimus Prime! Optimus Prime retains his heavyweight title!

Sloppy strikes from Oliver. Those never looked like landing.
Oliver throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A left and a right from Oliver both land. Nice combination.
The Slicer closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Oliver looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

The Slicer scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The Slicer trying to control the action but Oliver is working from the bottom.
The Slicer takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The Slicer throwing shots but Oliver is blocking nicely.
The Slicer winds up and cracks Oliver with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Oliver really doesn't want to stay on the ground with The Slicer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Oliver has hold of The Slicer's hands but The Slicer slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The Slicer is nestled in close to Oliver, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Oliver is rocked!
The Slicer lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Oliver quite badly. Oliver pulls The Slicer in close trying to recover. The Slicer postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Oliver on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Oliver doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
