The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mezin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Spyridon tries to keep at a distance but Mezin has taken the fight into the clinch.
Mezin using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Spyridon has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Spyridon tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mezin smiles and moves away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Spyridon is defended easily by Mezin.
Spyridon throws a right and a left that both miss.

Mezin has taken the fight to the clinch.

Mezin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Mezin forces Spyridon back against the cage and clinches.
