The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mikala lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kronic has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kronic and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Kronic swings away with a body shot that misses
and Mikala counters with a big head kick but Kronic shrugs it off.
Kronic misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kronic looks to score with a jab to the body but Mikala is just out of range.
Kronic pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kronic throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mikala tried to score with a low kick but Kronic checks it.
Mikala shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kronic as he jumps to the side.
Kronic lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

It looks like Iokua Mikala has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Snuka kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Superfly -- Curtis Mayfield and Ice T . Corbett has chosen ... as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
