Undercard bout

Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morris looks to land a combination but Nelson avoids it well.
Nelson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Morris swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Decent striking displayed by Morris there.

Nelson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Morris, pushing him back against the cage.

Nelson turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Nelson manages to end up in side control.
Nelson tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
You can see the frustration on Morris's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Morris bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

It looks like Skyler Nelson has been cut.

Morris swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Nelson.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Mir has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Leonov. Oh but Mir has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Leonov goes limp - he's gone! Mir jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
