As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Frey counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Crunch! Frey slams his shin into Selenius's torso.

Cruz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Smith swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Smith.
Cruz plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Cruz closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cruz lands in his opponent's guard.
Cruz slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Cruz sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Smith's guard.

Corvina lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Corvina tries to bum rush Overeem with a series of wild strikes but Overeem uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Banica Corvina is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Corvina throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Overeem shoots in but Corvina avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Corvina Throws a clean left jab. Corvina Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Overeem's chin! Overeem crumbles to the ground and Corvina follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Corvina!
