The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Krooker shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Krooker showed some decent athleticism there.
Krooker frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Thomas is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Thomas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Krooker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Thomas is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Krooker looking to secure an arm triangle but Thomas defends it well.

Krooker has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Thomas is in real trouble here. Krooker gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Thomas is tapping out! Krooker wins by rear naked choke!

Cienfuegos has instead reached around Butler's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Cienfuegos arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ajdukovic throws a combination. Campbell tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like DJ Campbell has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ajdukovic throws a right hand that Campbell ducks under and follows up with a left that Campbell also avoids with ease.

and Campbell counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Campbell decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ajdukovic's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Ajdukovic wants to stand and escape but Campbell is having none of it.
Ajdukovic is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Campbell sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ajdukovic's guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Campbell in particular looking to stall.
Campbell's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

DJ Campbell has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Ajdukovic feints with a jab and clips Campbell right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Campbell is sent crashing into the canvas and Ajdukovic leaps in for the kill! Campbell tries to get to his feet but Ajdukovic is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Campbell is in need of a savior and steps in!

Beissner stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Shuler shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Beissner pinned against the cage. Beissner gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Will Shuler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Beissner wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Beissner throws a left that rocks Shuler and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Beissner dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Shuler regain composure!
Shuler is still in real trouble! Can Beissner finish him?
Beissner throws an elbow but Shuler slips to the side and avoids it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Beissner connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Shuler some visible discomfort.
