The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Carween is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Carween dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Carween throws a series of punches but Thompson moves out of range.
Thompson misses with a takedown
and Carween counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Carween moves into the clinch successfully.
Carween gets through Thompson's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Carween pushes Thompson back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Thompson is breathing heavily.

Carween breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Thompson misses with a hook

and Carween holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Carween lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Thompson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Still in the clinch, Carween scores with a nice short uppercut.

Thompson is rocked!

Oh Thompson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Carween unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Thompson! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Carween is unloading with more strikes now! Thompson drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Conlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitali Klitschko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Conlin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Eminem The Way I Am. Vitali Klitschko told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Klitschko needs to keep his hands up - Conlin had a free shot at his head there.
Vitali Klitschko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Conlin throws a body punch but Klitschko moves out of range.
Klitschko falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Conlin to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Vitali Klitschko has been cut.
No joy there for Klitschko, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Klitschko drives through with a takedown into Conlin's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Klitschko in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Klitschko is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Conlin has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Klitschko is looking to defend but Conlin has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Klitschko! Conlin pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Klitschko taps out and this one is all over!
