Mizrahi misses with a body shot.
Machete shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mizrahi sprawls well. Mizrahi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Machete gets slowly back to his feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marshall takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Marshall lands with a nice body punch.
Bloodedge moves in looking to clinch but Marshall pushes him off.
A slapping leg kick lands for Marshall.
Doug Marshall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marshall avoids the head kick by Bloodedge.
Marshall feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bloodedges jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Bloodedge steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Marshall. That one must have hurt.
Marshall moves out of range of the body kick from Bloodedge.

Bloodedge on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Bloodedge throws a front kick aimed at Marshall's knee but Marshall avoids it well.
That kick from Marshall tenderised Bloodedge's leg. Bloodedge is trying to keep his angry face on.

Marshall shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bloodedge eats them both and turns towards Marshall to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Bloodedge takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
BAM! Marshall delivers a spinning backfist that drops Bloodedge like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
