Gates bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Williams's head backwards.

Jesse misses with a looping right.
Cole scores with a sloppy right hand. Jesse should have avoided that one.
Jesse is looking to chop away at Cole's legs.
Jesse missing with a left hand there. Cole was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jesse has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Jesse there as he acknowledges the shot.

Cole throws a combination. Jesse tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Jesse tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cole swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jesse tries to bum rush Cole with a series of wild strikes but Cole uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Cole counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Jesse crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cole - the referee stops the clock and Jesse gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cole. Jesse manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Cole cracks a nice hook into Jesse's ribs.
Jesse is breathing heavily.
Jesse's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Cole connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jesse scrambles back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cole clobbers Jesse with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Jesse takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Augustus Cole is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cole throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Jesse stumbling backwards into the cage! Jesse bounces back off the cage towards Cole, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Cole lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Cole celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Sichev swings around for an armbar but Leonidas sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Sichev's guard.

Sichev escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Leonidas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Sichev is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Leonidas defends well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Quintes feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Justice is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Quintes has his hands clasped together but Justice extends an breaks Quintes's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Justice.

Suiniciv shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Camas's guard.

Camas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Suiniciv doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Suiniciv manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Camas has momentary wrist control but Suiniciv slips an elbow through the middle.

Camas has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Suiniciv can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Suiniciv stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Camas has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Suiniciv manages to get his head free but now Camas has transitioned to an armbar! Suiniciv grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Camas! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopo shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Hopo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bullit circles away quickly and effectively.
Bullit is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hopo.

Hopo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
