Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Newson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Zaire has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Zaire and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Zaire is trying desperately to land a takedown but Newson is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Zaire.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Newson cracks Zaire with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Newson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Zaire to stand back up!

Newson cracks Zaire with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Zaire tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Newson pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Zaire is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Jase Newson was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
