The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prime moves out of range of the strikes.
Trayxox on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Prime will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Trayxox will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Trayxox shoots in looking for a takedown. Prime tries to sprawl out of it but Trayxox keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Prime manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Trayxox tries to clinch but Prime is having none of it.

Trayxox fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Malal Prime has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henry Trayxox.

Prime knocks Trayxox to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Prime decides to stand up, so the ref orders Trayxox to his feet.
Trayxox is trying desperately to land a takedown but Prime is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Trayxox.
Trayxox drops his hands momentarily and Prime needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Trayxox just on the top of the head. Trayxox drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Trayxox - he's done!

Petrea throws a right and a left that both miss.

Jackson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Gardner rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Andersson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Gardner counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Andersson thinking.

and Gardner counters with a stiff right hand.

Andersson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Andersson is looking to pass Gardner's guard but actually Gardner recovers to full guard.
Gardner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
