The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belfort tries to score a power double leg takedown but Quik sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Belfort somewhat.
Preuss Belfort seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Quik uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Belfort has time to react.
Quik throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Belfort on the side of the head.

Quik feints and as Belfort raises his hands in defense, Quik changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Jurgen connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Pakkaaja tumbling to the canvas! Jurgen pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Pakkaaja was done - good stoppage!

Rampage chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Boxer can pounce on him.
Rampage will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Boxer shoots for a double leg takedown but Rampage sprawls well. He's pushed Boxer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
