The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zasz fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dy sprawls well initially but Zasz persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Dy is trying to control but can't.
Dy works his way to full guard. Good work.
Dy manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Zasz manages to get himself to full guard.
Dy wants to control from the top but Zasz keeps moving.
Zasz is looking to stand up but Dy isn't so interested in that idea.
Zasz keeping moving, preventing Dy from controlling successfully.
Dy wants to stand but Zasz is controlling his posture from full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Lucas Dy just wasn't active enough.
Zasz throws a nice looking combination but Dy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Zasz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hekla Fengdu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Pedro Bengoetxea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fengdu comes to the cage accompanied by Get Naked. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Fengdu misses with the combination.
Bengoetxea throws a hook to the side of Fengdu's head but Fengdu sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Fengdu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hekla Fengdu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A decent looking cross lands there for Fengdu.
Bengoetxea misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fengdu misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bengoetxea moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Hekla Fengdu has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fighters circling - Bengoetxea throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bengoetxea loads up on a big right hand but Fengdu slips the punch.
Fengdu goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Luis Pedro Bengoetxea has been cut.
Fengdu connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Fengdu uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bengoetxea.
Bengoetxea tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Fengdu throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Bengoetxea misses with an uppercut. Fengdu saw that one coming.
Fengdu and Bengoetxea are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Fengdu throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Bengoetxea into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Fengdu knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Isibeda Tintti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tintti swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Makkonen knocks Tintti to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?

It looks like Isibeda Tintti has been cut.

Makkonen has an Americana. Tintti didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Makkonen is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Makkonen hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Beck switches off momentarily and Cooper cracks him with a monster right hand! Beck topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Cooper dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Cooper!

Kraze slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Kraze drops Zaykin with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Zaykin looks back up at him and smiles so Kraze waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kraze lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

Bingham has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bingham is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Riggs doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bingham.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Horrible takedown by Bingham or perhaps it was just good defense by Riggs which made him look bad.

Bingham takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Derek Riggs is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Riggs lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Bingham wants to take a breather but Riggs manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Bingham.
Riggs is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
