The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ismine shoots in looking for a takedown. Nienacki tries to sprawl out of it but Ismine keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nienacki manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Ismine gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ismine avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Nienacki works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Ismine is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Nienacki's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Nienacki's back!
Nienacki trying to get back to his feet but Ismine is in full control for now.

Ismine is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Nienacki has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Nienacki tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ismine cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ismine throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Nienacki working to try and regain half guard.

Nienacki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ismine. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Nienacki tries to improve his position but Ismine has taken his back! Ismine has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Nienacki tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Ismine pushes Nienacki away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!

Stafford Alois's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Stafford Alois's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Johnson steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with north's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. north just didn't come prepared.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Look low, kick high! Reigle uses the oldest trick in the book to send Roman tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Reigle is absolutely delighted - when Roman wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

Wakka cracks Luke with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Luke tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Wakka pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Luke is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Sakurai lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Doo takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
