The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castro ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Daddy moves away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Castro enables Daddy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Castro manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Daddy drops back, looking for a kneebar! Castro looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Castro looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Castro!
Castro tries to advance to mount but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Daddy tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Castro lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Daddy down.

I think Brown might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Shipping Up To Boston. The crowd seem to be enjoying King's choice of entrance music: Slayer - Raining Blood. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

A head kick by King - that's a beauty! Brown is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even King can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
