The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delfueneto throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Couture.
Delfueneto defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Couture.
Delfueneto stalks Couture and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Couture's face. Couture staggers backwards, shaken.
Couture looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Delfueneto stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Delfueneto wants it to stay on the feet.
John Delfueneto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyson Couture.
Couture changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Delfueneto tries to avoid it but Couture manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Delfueneto to the ground. Delfueneto escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
