Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between George Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Bough (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes into the arena with Through the Fire Flames- Dragonforce blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Bough gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Johnson to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Johnson advances to half guard.
Johnson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Johnson is trying for a kimura here. Bough looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Johnson wins by kimura!

Bivar breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Small throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Frnas's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Small dives in looking to finish as Frnas flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Small's strikes! Small is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Frnas's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Frnas was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
