Quadi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Tupac - Changes. Salin Quadi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blaze moves into range and clinches up with Quadi.
Blaze connects with a knee to the head.
Quadi tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Quadi managing to block the knees to the body from Blaze.
Blaze tries to work over Quadi's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Quadi gets control of Blaze's arms and successfully pulls guard. Quadi will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Quadi had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Blaze defends it easily.

Blaze avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Blaze is looking to stand up but Quadi won't let him.
Blaze must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Quadi wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Quadi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Blaze can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Oh but Quadi is tightening it up a little... Blaze has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Blaze reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Blaze taps out! Nice BJJ there by Quadi!

Haggen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Haggen looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

It looks like Ooga Booga has been cut.
Haggen throws a right and a left that both miss.
Haggen blocks a jab.
Haggen throws a right and a left that Booga avoids nicely.
A looping hook to the body misses from Booga. Haggen does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Booga!

Booga shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Haggen is trying to defend but Booga finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Hoost has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Dillingham after a bit of a struggle.

Parker drops his hands momentarily. Horseshead doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Parker staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Parker doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
