The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Boxer does no damage.
Mason tries to clinch but Boxer moves out of range.
Boxer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mason moves away.
Boxer darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Boxer cracks Mason with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
A punch lands to the side of Mason 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Mason drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Mason drives through and clinches with Boxer against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Mason keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Boxer's efforts to push away.

Mason ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Mason no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Boxer looking to sit in guard and control but Mason gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Mason drops back looking for a leg! Boxer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Boxer manages to kick Mason off! Mason jumps back into Boxer's guard.

After the fight, Tom Jones was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
