Spewak will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Spewak enables DeSouza to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Spewak manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Soares tries to get to his feet but Ferreira is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Soares is in need of a savior and steps in!
