Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hashisha sends Howards crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Hashisha is motioning to the referee to let Howards up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Billy Howards has been cut.
Hashisha is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Howards flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Howards is out cold! Hashisha holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Pierre throws a half hearted mid kick.
Dominguez takes a swing at St Pierre's ribcage but misses.
Dominguez closes the distance but St Pierre moves to the side
and St Pierre counters with an outside leg kick.
St Pierre dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
St Pierre fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
A nice combination there by St Pierre.

It looks like Pablo Dominguez has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jab by St Pierre.
Dominguez chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before St Pierre can pounce on him.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from St Pierre.
St Pierre fakes the leg kick and cracks Dominguez in the body.
Dominguez is breathing heavily.
St Pierre throws a nice inside leg kick.
St Pierre connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

St Pierre drops Dominguez with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Dominguez looks back up at him and smiles so St Pierre waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Dominguez is rocked!
St Pierre and Dominguez are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. St Pierre throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Dominguez into next week! Ooooh that was huge! St Pierre knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Lance St Pierre really struggled to get his t-shirt was on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Conviction logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.

Roncesvalles tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
ORiordan needs to keep his hands up - Roncesvalles had a free shot at his head there.
ORiordan works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Jonah Roncesvalles has been cut.
ORiordan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
ORiordan scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Roncesvalles doesn't seem bothered though.

and Roncesvalles counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
ORiordan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Roncesvalles paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Roncesvalles connects with a jab.
Roncesvalles dodges the punch combination from ORiordan.
Jonah Roncesvalles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roncesvalles misses with a wild body shot.
ORiordan looks to land a left hand but Roncesvalles moved out of range nicely.
Roncesvalles avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
ORiordan tries to clinch but Roncesvalles is having none of it.
ORiordan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Roncesvalles stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A jab from ORiordan does it's job there.
Roncesvalles lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Roncesvalles looking to land some kicks to the body here.
ORiordan tries to clinch but Roncesvalles is having none of it.
ORiordan lands with a big left! Roncesvalles is wobbled badly! ORiordan comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Roncesvalles to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Sean ORiordan!
Sean ORiordan retains his heavyweight title!
In his post fight interview, Sean ORiordan started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
