The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lombardo feints a jab promting Gracie to slip. Lombardo then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Gracie slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Ricardo Gracie has been cut.
Lombardo misses with a jab to the body

and Gracie counters with a single leg into guard. Lombardo didn't expect that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gracie postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lombardo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gracie, into his guard.

Gracie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lombardo defends it easily.

Power fails with a takedown attempt.
Power tries for a takedown but Dixon sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Power lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Power has Dixon pressed against the cage, preventing Dixon from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Power lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Dixon falls backwards - clearly groggy! Power dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

With a record of 15 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Quick!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quick throws a jab when Wuzz was well out of range.
Wuzz doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Wuzz takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wuzz shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Quick counters by clinching up.
Wuzz tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andy Wuzz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wuzz is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Quick pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Wuzz is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Quick wants a takedown but no success here.

Wuzz ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Wuzz no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Quick got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wuzz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Quick has managed to get both his arms back between Wuzz's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wuzz wants to stand up but Quick is controlling him.

Wuzz had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Quick defends it easily.

Wuzz looking for a triangle here. Quick is fighting it but it looks tight! Wuzz pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Quick is tapping out - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Andy Wuzz!
Andy Wuzz gave a mention to Bushido Clothing in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
