The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vernon bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Yin's head backwards.
Yin throws a sloppy body shot
and Vernon counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Yin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Vernon manages to avoid it.
Yin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vernon as he avoids it easily.
Vernon lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Yin throws a hook but Vernon blocks it.
Nice defenses there by Yin.
Vernon slips a jab from Yin.
Vernon has a takedown stuffed.
Vernon dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munechika rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Pea counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Munechika ducks under a wild hook from Pea.
Pea throws a lazy right hand but Munechika sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pea misses with a jab, cross combination.
Munechika chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Munechika pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Munechika staying out of range there.
Pea jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pea lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Munechika has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Munechika and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Green Pea seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sielu is sitting in close to Lai's body. Lai has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Sielu is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Sielu is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Lai.
