Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Randal Coutour (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ceaser Sarney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ceaser Sarney told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sarney gets tackled into the cage by Coutour. Coutour maintains the clinch.

Coutour pulls guard successfully.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Sarney wants to stand and escape but instead Coutour has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Sarney manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Coutour somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!
Sarney takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Sarney clinches with his opponent.
Coutour is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Sarney is defending well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Coutour decides to pull guard.
Sarney throws a big elbow that misses.
Sarney really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Coutour. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Coutour working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sarney doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Coutour is tightening it up a little... Sarney has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Sarney reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Sarney taps out! Nice BJJ there by Coutour!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chuma wants to clinch.
Freeman avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Freeman shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chuma sprawls well. Chuma wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Freeman gets slowly back to his feet.
Chuma tries to close the distance and clinch but Freeman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Chuma shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Freeman as he jumps to the side.
Chuma throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Freeman stumbling backwards into the cage! Freeman bounces back off the cage towards Chuma, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Chuma lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Chuma celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Kaan tries to keep at a distance but Silva has taken the fight into the clinch.

Silva fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kaan manages to avoid it.

Silva walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Strong throws out a leg kick but Zelli moves out of range and Strong only half commits.
Strong throws a looping overhand right but Zelli ducks down to avoid it.

Zelli tries to work over Strong's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Zelli is fighting off a takedown attempt but Strong is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Zelli to the mat. Zelli regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Strong pivots and extends the arm, Zelli falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Strong! Well done that man!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Brian Watson.
