Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Xander Arapeta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Animal Mother (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arapeta comes to the ring accompanied by The Sound by Switchfoot. Xander Arapeta had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 187.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

After initially coming in at 186.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nemesis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mongo circles away quickly and effectively.

Nemesis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mongo moves away.

Nice combo by Nemesis! Oh, that's hurt him - Mongo falls to the canvas and Nemesis follows him into side control.

It looks like Mongo Mongo has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
