Komitata is having to fend off submission attempts from Boubeez, who is looking to sink in the choke. Boubeez doesn't have the hooks in though and Komitata manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.

Boubeez had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Komitata defends it easily.

Komitata takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Komitata is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Boubeez is chipping away with strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Boubeez lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Iliek Boubeez overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Komitata tries to buck Boubeez off but Boubeez is having none of it.
Komitata takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Komitata is rocked!
Boubeez working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Boubeez scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Komitata is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Boubeez can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
