Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Loco drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Loco wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tabera keeps working.

Tabera trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Tabera wants to get up but he can't break Loco's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Loco wants to sweep here but Tabera controlling him for the moment.

You get the feeling that Tabera really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Loco is landing with some decent strikes but Tabera is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Beltord lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Quadi circles away quickly and effectively.
