The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davis closes the distance and clinches.
Davis drops down looking for an ankle pick but Craig pulls his leg out and moves away.
Craig leaves Davis with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Craig tries to clinch there but Davis circles away.

Davis gets tackled into the cage by Craig. Craig maintains the clinch.

Craig is fighting off a takedown attempt but Davis is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Craig to the mat. Craig regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
