The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts shoots in looking for a takedown. Aspenia tries to sprawl out of it but Roberts keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Aspenia manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Aspenia darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Aspenia keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Aspenia stuffs the takedown attempt from Roberts. Roberts gets slowly back to his feet.
Kato Aspenia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Roberts.
Aspenia lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Roberts at a distance.
Roberts throws a jab but it's blocked by Aspenia.
Jake Roberts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Johnstone changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Haddl tries to avoid it but Johnstone manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Haddl to the ground. Haddl escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Johnstone bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
