Silva throws a hook to the side of Vernon's head but Vernon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jaxon Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Silva crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Vernon - the referee stops the clock and Silva gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Vernon. Silva manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Silva walks into a stiff left hand from Vernon.

It looks like Jaxon Silva has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Vernon drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Silva can do anything to dispel that myth.
Vernon lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Silva down.
Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vernon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Vernon lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Jones sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Nishiura throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Nishiura cracks a nice hook into Jones's ribs.
Nishiura bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jones's head.
Nishiura tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Nishiura misses with an attempted mid kick.
Nishiura fakes the leg kick and cracks Jones in the body.
Nice uppercut there from Nishiura.

Jones is rocked!
Nishiura throws a powerful right kick. Jones tried to block low but the kick was high! Jones was taken right off of his feet! Nishiura jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!

It looks like Sb Killa has been cut.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Lai looking to ground and pound but Killa is blocking nicely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lai softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Killa is out cold! Lai jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
