Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vince Westhaven!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Westhaven keeps the fight on the outside.

Westhaven feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Nilly working a defensive guard here.
Westhaven preventing the sweep.
Westhaven seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Westhaven won't allow Nilly to sweep him here.

Nilly looking for a guillotine here but Westhaven defends easily.
Nilly thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

It looks like Westhaven might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Vince Westhaven wasn't active enough on the ground.
Nilly tries to clinch up but Westhaven circles away and keeps his distance.
Nilly looks to score with a jab to the body but Westhaven is just out of range.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Westhaven crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Nilly - the referee stops the clock and Westhaven gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Nilly. Westhaven manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Willy Nilly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Westhaven will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Nilly is looking to clinch but Westhaven is avoiding it.

Nilly tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Westhaven manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Vince Westhaven's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Engl stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Engl wants it to stay on the feet.
Engl throws an overhand right that lands on Hitsugaya's shoulder, as Hitsugaya tries to avoid the shot.
Hitsugaya with a lazy takedown attempt
and Engl counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hitsugaya shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Engl pinned against the cage. Engl gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Schecter Engl has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Toushiro Hitsugaya.
Hitsugaya takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Engl has closed the distance and engaged Hitsugaya in a clinch.
Hitsugaya is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Engl pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Oooooh!!! Engl has knocked Hitsugaya down with a huge combo! Engl steps away and waves a wobbly Hitsugaya back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Toushiro Hitsugaya has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Engl throws a jab when Hitsugaya was well out of range.

Gaiden Shinji really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Revolution Fatigues logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.

Gunn anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Jungle and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Gunn slips an arm under Jungle chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Gunn has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Gunn is squeezing on Jungle like an anaconda would it's prey. Jungle fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
