The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tea with a lazy takedown attempt

and Tramontana counters with a single leg into guard. Tea didn't expect that.

Tea is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Tea working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tramontana doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tramontana manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Tea is looking for a triangle but Tramontana pushes his legs off easily.

Tramontana has gone for a leg lock! Tea slips out almost immediately though and dives into Tramontana's guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Tea got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tramontana has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tea has managed to get both his arms back between Tramontana's legs - danger averted.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That was a close second round but I would say that Van Dinh Nguyen will probably get the nod.
