The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Thompson throws a nice inside leg kick.

Kong closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Thompson on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Kong jumps guard but Thompson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Kong drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Thompson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Thompson is trying to break the clinch but Kong is controlling him.

Thompson lands a big head kick that sends Kong tumbling to the mat! Thompson takes a step backwards and waves Kong back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Look low, kick high! Groot uses the oldest trick in the book to send Mann tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Groot is absolutely delighted - when Mann wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
