That was a close second round but I would say that Gennady Vieira will probably get the nod.

and Diaz counters with a one-two to the body.
Bates shoots in looking for a takedown. Diaz tries to sprawl out of it but Bates keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Diaz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Diaz cracks Bates with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Bates tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Diaz pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Bates is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
