Pendragon shoots in and bounces Winterbush off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shrew displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Brannigan throws out the jab.
Shrew ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Shrew changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brannigan tries to avoid it but Shrew manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brannigan to the ground. Brannigan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Shrew swings for the body but Brannigan moves out of range.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Brannigan here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
