Maquiavel fakes the leg kick and cracks McKay in the body.

Maquiavel throws a head kick but McKay moves out of range.

Maquiavel drops McKay with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but McKay looks back up at him and smiles so Maquiavel waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Maquiavel closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks McKay out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gable moves into range and clinches up with Worner.

Worner wants the takedown. Gable is fighting it off but Worner persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Gable's guard against the cage.

Gable wants to get back to his feet but Worner is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Gable wants to sweep here but Worner controlling him for the moment.
Worner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gable swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Worner postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Gable is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Worner, into his guard.

Worner is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Worner avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Gable loads up on a big left hand. Worner felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Gable looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Worner can't hide his disappointment, as Gable celebrates the victory.

After the fight, Dan Gable was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Itsik Obas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Trejo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Obas comes to the cage accompanied by Perfect Gentelman. Trejo has chosen Dire Straits- Six Blade Knife as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!
