Marrodona fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wakka sprawls well initially but Marrodona persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Marrodona looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Wakka tries to get to full guard but Marrodona has control of the leg.
Wakka wants to control but Marrodona passes into side.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wakka is looking to regain half guard here but Marrodona keeps moving and retains side control.

Marrodona has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Wakka is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Marrodona yanks on the arm and Wakka is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Marrodona.

Chsiev tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Chsiev has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reva shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Reva uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Riley.
Riley looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Reva shoots in looking for a takedown. Riley tries to sprawl out of it but Reva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Riley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Riley misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Reva cracks Riley with an open hand slap.
Riley throws a hook to the side of Reva's head but Reva sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Riley leaves Reva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Reva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Reva shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Riley as he avoids it easily.

Riley throws out a loose jab but Reva uses good head movement to avoid it.
Reva shoots in for a takedown but Riley shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Riley throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Riley grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Reva takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Riley cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
