I think Pihl might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Run to the hills. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pihl manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Phillips on his heels. He'll look to pass Phillips's guard now, I'm sure.
Pihl will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Pihl postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Pihl throws an elbow that misses. Phillips uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Pihl's guard. Nice move by Phillips!
Pihl is looking to stand back up but Phillips counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Pihl.

Phillips connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Phillips bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Phillips's jab looks to have found its range, popping Pihl under the eye.
Oh Pihl is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pihl is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Phillips just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Pihl has gone limp and this one is over!
