These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel shoots in looking for a takedown. Tzaraath tries to sprawl out of it but Steel keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tzaraath manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice defenses there by Steel.
Tzaraath is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Steel moves to clinch but Tzaraath breaks away
and Tzaraath cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Steel misses with a head kick.
Steel shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Tzaraath counters with a right hand to the body.
Steel slips a straight right by Tzaraath.
A big right from Tzaraath misses.
The fighters circling - Tzaraath throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Steel tries to clinch up but Tzaraath circles away and keeps his distance.
Steel ducks right into an uppercut from Tzaraath.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tzaraath connects with a good right hand that stumbles Steel. Steel circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

and Steel counters with a nice low kick that buckles Tzaraath's knee momentarily.
Steel seems to have got his legs back now.
Tzaraath leaves Steel with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Tzaraath might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Steel misses with a looping right.
Steel ducks under a wild hook from Tzaraath.
Tzaraath throws an overhand right that lands on Steel's shoulder, as Steel tries to avoid the shot.

Steel changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tzaraath fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Steel gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Tzaraath gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Steel is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ross takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Ross misses with a left hand

and Amado counters with a crisp one two that drops Ross! Amado thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Ross to his feet! Ross is in big trouble!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A chopping leg kick lands by Amado.
Ross looks gassed!
BOOM! Amado lands a beautiful left hook that drops Ross. Ross tries to recover but Amado is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Ross lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Slice switches off momentarily and Coach cracks him with a monster right hand! Slice topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Coach dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Coach!

Brandoa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kovain tries to avoid it but Brandoa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kovain to the ground. Kovain escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kovain throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Brandoa was covering up waiting for the punch and Kovain finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Brandoa is looking to sinch up a triangle. Kovain throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Brandoa's body to avoid the submission. Brandoa has instead reached around Kovain's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Brandoa arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
