I think Fullington might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Enter Sandman. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackwood connects with a good right hand that stumbles Fullington. Fullington circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Fullington's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Blackwood connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Fullington scrambles back to his feet.
Fullington scores with a jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Blackwood takes a swing at Fullington's ribcage but misses.
Thor Blackwood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fullington takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Fullington doesn't manage to clinch there - Blackwood circles away.
Blackwood misses with a few strikes there.
Fullington walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

and Blackwood counters with a low kick, right behind Fullington 's knee.
Fullington ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Blackwood moves away.
Blackwood gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Fullington.
Blackwood lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Fullington swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Fullington throws a hook but Blackwood blocks it.
A big left from Fullington misses.

Fullington feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Blackwood sprawling to the canvas! Blackwood rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Fullington finish him?!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fullington throws a right and a left that both miss.
Fullington looks to score with a jab to the body but Blackwood is just out of range.
Fullington drops Blackwood with a straight right hand, right on the button! Fullington follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

This has been an exciting period of action!

Briggs is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Carwin defends it well.

Briggs closes the distance and clinches up with Carwin, looking for a takedown. Briggs pushes Carwin against the cage but Carwin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Carwin avoids a punch combination nicely.
Frank Carwin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Carwin misses with an uppercut. Briggs saw that one coming.
Carwin throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Briggs crashing down! Briggs tries to stagger back to his feet but Carwin just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Briggs asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
