That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Maia! Submission of the night perhaps?

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rich Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shim Changmin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Franklin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I Need a Doctor. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Changmin can do anything to dispel that myth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boom drives through with a takedown into Mishima's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
