Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Garcia waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Kopara. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Kopara to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Kopara is rocked!

It looks like Zbigniew Kopara has been cut.
Garcia controlling from the top position.
Kopara is still in real trouble! Can Garcia finish him?
Garcia passes into half guard.
Garcia is taking a breather. Kopara says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Garcia maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Kopara could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Garcia has cracked it and Kopara is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Garcia!

Tate looks to score with a jab to the body but Anaconda is just out of range.
Anaconda with a lazy takedown attempt

and Tate counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Tate drops back looking for a leg! Anaconda is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Anaconda manages to kick Tate off! Tate jumps back into Anaconda's guard.
Anaconda has control of Tate's left arm, preventing Tate from doing any damage.
Tate won't allow Anaconda to get back to his feet.
Tate controlling from the top position.
Tate missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Tate stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Anaconda throws up his legs and catches Tate in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Tate tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Anaconda! That came out of nowhere!

and Luu makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Sailo looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
A nice combination there by Luu.

It looks like Dama Sailo has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Luu throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Luu fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sailo, pushing him back against the cage.

Luu lands a shoulder strike.
Luu is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Luu tightens his grip and picks Sailo up, before dumping him to the ground. Sailo manages to land in guard.

Luu lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Luu scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Kova Luu just wasn't active enough.
Luu throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Sailo's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Luu dives in looking to finish as Sailo flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Luu's strikes! Luu is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Sailo's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Sailo was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Sapp defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Penna.
Penna slips a jab and a cross from Sapp.
Sapp misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Penna gets a double leg takedown into Sapp's guard.

Penna postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sapp is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Penna, into his guard.
Sapp really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Penna. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Penna is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sapp defends well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Sapp is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Penna has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Sapp is looking to defend but Penna has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Sapp! Penna pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Sapp taps out and this one is all over!

Marconi shoots in looking for a takedown but Mercier manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Marconi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Nice takedown defense from Mercier. No joy for Marconi on that attempt.
Marconi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Santino Marconi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Horrible takedown by Marconi or perhaps it was just good defense by Mercier which made him look bad.

Mercier jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Mercier connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Marconi momentarily.
Mercier moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Oh Marconi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Carver changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gamble looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
You can see the frustration on Gamble's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Titan Carver.
