The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Files gets caught flat footed, as Yuen shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Yuen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Yuen is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Yuen avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Files keeping moving, preventing Yuen from controlling successfully.
Yuen stops Files from standing up.

Files kicks Yuen off and gets to his feet.
Yuen misses with the combination.
Files swats away the attempt to clinch by Yuen.

Yuen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Files to the mat! Files manages to get full guard.

Files wants to get back to his feet but Yuen is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Yuen is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Files is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Files has escaped and now he's on top!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Yuen controls Files momentarily but Files frees himself.

Files wants to control from the top but Yuen keeps moving.

Yuen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Files can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Files thows a big elbow that misses.
Files trying to control the position from guard on top but Yuen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Files gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Yuen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Files avoids it really well and circles away.

That was a close round but I would say that Sean Yuen will probably get the nod.

Yuen closes the distance and clinches up with Files, looking for a takedown. Yuen pushes Files against the cage but Files circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Yuen takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Files lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Yuen can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Files and Yuen drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Files.

Gump darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Gonzalez's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Gump before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
