The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reed darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
A jab from Gadafi does it's job there.
Gadafi tries to clinch up but Reed circles away and keeps his distance.
Gadafi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gadafi slips under a jab from Reed.
Reed rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gadafi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A left lands for Gadafi.
Reed dodges the punch combination from Gadafi.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Gadafi lands a really nice looking cross but Reed seems unphased.
Reed misses with a jab, cross combination.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Reed trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Reed loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Reed has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Gadafi is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Reed gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Reed thows a left - swing and a miss!
Reed looks to land a left hand but Gadafi moved out of range nicely.

Gadafi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Reed paws at him with a jab and circles away.

A swing and a miss from Reed.
Reed rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Gadafi counters with a series of strikes. Reed will be more careful next time no doubt.
Gadafi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Reed cracks Gadafi with an uppercut from hell and Gadafi crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Reed's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Gadafi is rocked!

It looks like Mr Gadafi has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Reed postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Gadafi covers up, he's hurt! Reed keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Reed and the ref steps in to end the fight! Reed can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
